Welcome to The Fletcher Academy! Our school was founded in 1981, establishing itself as the first independent day school for students with learning differences in the state of North Carolina. Over the last four decades, the Academy has served the needs of thousands of unique learners. Our small, personable, vibrant and joyful community embraces and empowers young people as they strive to discover academic, athletic, artistic and social-emotional success.
It's true you can't get to know a school by simply visiting its website. That's why it's impossible to understand the environment, culture, and services Fletcher has to offer unless you speak with us in person and make time to visit.
