Student applicants should possess a current diagnosis of Specified Learning Disability and/or ADHD (Inattentive, Hyperactive-Impulsive, or Combined).
A current and complete psychological, psycho-educational, or neurological evaluation must be provided, along with recommendations from at least two teachers.
A student's verbal and cognitive abilities should fall in the average to above average range. At Fletcher, we do not specialize in serving low-verbal students or those identified with an intellectual disability.
A child's developmental history and professional recommendations must emphasize academic need - not emotional or behavioral need. TFA does not provide therapeutic services, nor do we specialize in behavioral challenges.
